My servility –
Has paved a path
– To my proclivity.
My amiability –
Has become interchangeable,
With being agreeable.
With pretense –
Falsities preclude,
A manner tried and true.
Imperceptible –
The eyes have sensed a change.
The door has closed,
Obsequious no more.
