I see the last vision of you as the time seemed to pass before my eyes. The smile that appeared as you would approach, your scent a reminder of the lasting fragrance your presence presented. My mood instantly lifted the second I caught a glimpse of you. A calmness that suffused through every cell of my body. Knowing that I could anticipate an hour of conversation and laughter that would heal my soul. I lingered in that moment, knowing too well that it would come to an end. A glorious reprieve from life’s chaos, a sanctuary I craved. It is embedded within me, a timeless haven of peace, where love and joy resides. I thank you for that.
